Comfort reflection and compassionate support through lifes transitions
Life brings moments of change, uncertainty, inspiration, and new beginnings. During these times, the gentle sound and resonance of the therapy harp can create a peaceful atmosphere for rest, reflection, and relaxation.
I offer supportive sessions online and in person. In-person therapy harp visits may be offered in a hospital, hospice or healing facility, or in your home within the local area. The live acoustic music surrounds the space with soothing vibration, inviting the body and mind to settle. You may choose to listen quietly, reflect, have a heartfelt conversation, or simply rest and drift into sleep.
Therapeutic music is offered in healthcare, hospice, and transitional settings around the world to support comfort and well-being. The intention is not to treat or cure, but to create a calming and compassionate environment in which each person can receive the music in their own way.
Depending upon your needs and energy, our time together may also include gentle conversation about your emotional or spiritual experiences. When drawing feels comfortable and appropriate, I can guide you through Neurographica®, a therapeutic drawing practice, or offer other creative experiences such as journaling and writing letters of love, gratitude, or remembrance.
Sessions may also incorporate Reiki, gentle breathing, and carefully selected acoustic instruments through Five Element Sound Harmonization. Each experience is thoughtfully tailored to meet you where you are.
Whether you are navigating an important transition, accompanying someone you love, exploring what comes next, or simply seeking a peaceful space to slow down, I offer a gentle presence in which you can relax, reduce stress, reconnect with what matters most, and allow your own inner wisdom to emerge.
Booking for Yourself or Someone You Love
You may request a session for yourself or for someone you love. A family member, caregiver, healthcare representative, or person holding power of attorney may also contact me to explore and arrange a visit. Whenever possible, the person receiving the session will be included in the choices about the visit. Their comfort, preferences, energy, and willingness to receive music will be respected throughout the experience. Visits in hospitals, hospices, and assisted-living communities will also follow the facility’s approval process and guidelines.

An Ancient Relationship with Sound
Human beings have used music, rhythm and voice to offer comfort and support well-being for thousands of years. In ancient Egypt, harps, singing and other instruments accompanied temple rituals, ceremonies and life within royal households. Egyptian sources also describe sung and spoken incantations used in some healing practices.
In ancient Greece, music was understood as a force capable of influencing the body, emotions and character. Later accounts of Pythagoras describe him using the lyre, voice and sacred songs to calm distress, ease suffering and help restore inner harmony.
The Bible offers another enduring image. When King Saul was troubled, David played the kinnor—an ancient lyre frequently translated as “harp”—and Saul experienced relief and felt better.
Today’s therapy harps are modern instruments, distinct from ancient lyres and traditional frame harps. Yet they continue this much older human practice: using vibration, resonance and attentive musical presence to create an atmosphere of comfort, rest and connection.
Even the English word sound carries an evocative double meaning. Merriam-Webster defines sound, as an adjective, as “free from injury or disease”—healthy, whole and secure. Although this meaning has a different linguistic origin from audible sound, it beautifully reflects the intention behind therapeutic music....
